Ok for towels and clothes, but nothing elseUse the doors as reference if you want to use them. I assembled them wrong at first then figured out the doors didn't fit. I realized I assembled them wrong. So use the doors as reference first!!The square panels are your BACK panels, so make sure the rectangles are on the side and bottom. Other than that, I'm using it as storage for the backroom. Also, read the instructions. I'll add a photo later.I had to transition from a 4 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom small apt. and this organizer was my hero. I was able to fit so much stuff in it. It became my dresser, book shelf, movie storage, makeup holder, a hiding place for my snacks so my kids can't find them?and so forth. It was able to put up and its sturdy. So make that investment. I would buy it again if I had to?Have a smooth and splendid day.Work as indicated in specs. No more, no less. Recommend using zip ties included in package for stability.It seems that the majority of the negative reviews for this seem to be because people are assembling it incorrectly, the 18 inch panels are the depth of your book case, and the square panels make up your width. So to build a cube or it'd be better to call it a rectangle, you need 4 of the 18 inch long panels and 1 square panel plus a door. And the 4 additional cubes that some people have talked about are the half tall bins that I've been calling shoe bins, those are not part of the original number of cubes. My only complaint about this is that it was difficult to get those first few pieces together, once you understand what snapping/popping sound you need to hear it gets easier. Just make sure you take your time and use the zip ties for added support. My only other problem was I ended up breaking one of the connectors early on and they do not include a single spare round connector but include 2 spare foot connectors. And to build all 16 plus 4 shoe bins, you must use all 44 18 inch panels. So I don't know why say in the instructions its 40 panels and that they give you 4 extra.Easy assembly and offers great storage space. If you're short bring a step stool because it can get pretty tall lol. I ordered two of these because I have a lot of things in my collection. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for stylish storage cubes!!1. They sent this in a large, heavy square-ish box, so be prepared for that.2 The instruction booklet is misleading, with some of the pieces (the large rectangle ones) not really showing in the images. 2-1. I read a review saying they company sized things wrong, because the door covered half of the hole. They may have assembled it wrong cus I almost had the same issue. 2-2 They show in the preview that you can leave out some rectangle pieces to hang clothes, but the stability is really low when you do so.3. You'll be sent squares, large rectangles, thin but long rectangles, shorter thin rectangles, plus the doors for the cubbies. 3-1 note that the larger rectangles should be assembled as side and top pieces, laying long ways, and not standing long ways.4. They send you several of these crosshaired like connecting pieces (with leg versions for the bottom of it) a few bundles of zip ties, some door connecting clips and a handful of hanger rods. 4-1 be carefule with the connection pieces, because I've broken 2 or 3 while assembling (trying to fix off angled door issues) I would buy this again, but I wish I'd have known all of this before hand.It works well for my sewing storage.
