The STX Activation 420 comes with a Fully Digital Control Panel for Time & Temperature. You have the option of using the Laboratory Tested Default Settings of 250 °F for 1 Hour to Decarb your Product or your can Manually Select your own Temperature and Time. The Manual Settings are from 160 °F to 270 °F and the Time can be set from 30 Minutes to 4 Hours. You have the option of using laboratory tested pre-determined decarboxylation settings for both processing time and temperature, or selecting your own preferences. The default setting for the temperature is 250 °F which converts to approximately 235° F inside the unit core during processing and the default time is 1 hour (about 20 min to heat up and 40 min of solid cooking time. There is then a cool down cycle, to ensure when you remove the lid and start to handle the canister is is safe to do so. Aluminum Alloy Activation Chamber The Activation Chamber has a double wall of Food Grade Aluminum Alloy with the temperature regulating thermostat at the bottom. This keeps the chamber at a consistent temperature throughout the activation process. 2 Aluminum Alloy Canisters The Size of the 2 Canisters that come with the Activation 420 is 5.5 Inches in Diameter and 2.5 Inches Deep. Each Canister holds 2 Ounces of Product. With one of the Canisters unique double segmented tray design, 2 different strains of raw products can be isolated to be decarbed at the same time. 100% Silicone Canister Storage Lids 2 Silicone Storage Lids for the canisters also come with this unit.
